Vehiso API
The Vehiso API lets a dealer, and the partner apps a dealer authorises, read and write their own data from outside Vehiso. It is a JSON REST API at https://api.vehiso.com/v1, with webhooks for changes and an MCP server for AI assistants.
One host serves every dealer. Your API key says which dealer you are working with, so there is no per-dealer hostname to configure.
What you can build
Bespoke websites. Render a dealer's live stock on a site you built yourself, and send enquiries and valuation requests straight into their Vehiso enquiry inbox. A publishable key is safe to ship in browser code.
DMS and stock sync. Push stock, prices and photos from your own dealer management system with batch upload, and keep your system up to date by listening to webhooks.
Data warehouses and reporting. Every list endpoint supports updated_since and deletion tombstones, so an ETL job can mirror a dealer's data incrementally and keep deletes in step.
Website themes. Ask Vehiso's AI theme builder for a new website theme, preview it and publish it from your own tools. See Website themes.
AI assistants. Connect Claude or any other Model Context Protocol client to the Vehiso MCP server and ask about stock, enquiries and appointments in plain English.
Partner integrations. If you serve many dealers (a finance house or a CRM, for example), use OAuth so dealers approve your app in Vehiso instead of pasting keys into your product.

Before you start
- Secret keys, webhooks and OAuth apps are available on every paid Vehiso plan. Publishable keys work on every plan, including Free, because they only reach data the dealer's website already shows.
- Keys are created by a dealer administrator in the Vehiso DMS (Dealer Management System), under Administration > Developers.
- Test keys (
vh_test_...) work against a shared sandbox dealer, so you can build without touching real stock or customers.
